Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are in the newlywed stage. The actress and art director tied the knot back in October and ever since have been keeping a relatively low profile. We’ve only spotted them around town on a few occasions, but each time they have looked the part of a smartly dressed Manhattan couple. Yesterday, they emerged in New York once again, this time wearing one of their most stealthy-chic looks yet.
Lawrence and Maroney used subtle—but luxurious—details to elevate their casual ensembles. Lawrence wore a refined wrap coat in the most pristine cream; she paired it with black wide-leg trousers, suede pointy flats by The Row—a favorite label of hers—and a gold clutch bag by Alexander Wang, rolled up almost like a lunch bag (the most stylish sandwich carrier ever).
Maroney, meanwhile, layered different shades of navy: a hooded coat, scarf, chinos, and Vans low-tops. Unlike fellow celebrity duos such as the Biebers or Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid, who often go for flashy coordination, it’s clear that Lawrence and Maroney prefer quiet elegance. In any case, marriage looks good on them.
