Tourists accused of starting blaze when ‘trying to prank sleeping pal by setting feet on fire with aerosol’ appear in court


FOUR tourists accused of starting a hotel blaze that caused damage worth $220,000 — all over a ridiculous prank on a mate — have appeared in court.

THE four Brits accused of starting a Magaluf hotel blaze in a prank that caused a massive amount of damage have been pictured for the first time walking into court today.

Two women named Georgia James and Lauren Smith, both 19, were handcuffed together as police led them into a hearing in Majorca’s capital, Palma.

They were followed by 21-year-olds James Brown and Brandon McCahill, also accused of sparking the fire by allegedly burning a sleeping pal’s feet using a lighter and aerosol can.
